The function of Music remains the same: it describes life by imitating life and selectively emphasizing some aspects over others. In this, Music imitates life, but selectively, and with the shaping hand of human narration. Music provides the clearest view of this, since it literally "sounds like" life; rhythms imitate motion and tones reflect mood depending on the degree of dissonance and consonance they possess relative to the foundational notes of a phrase.
The affluence that followed at the end of World War 2 in 1945 led to the invention of musical genre that eventually displaced the New York-based Tin Pan Alley Tin Pan Alley Blues songwriting tradition. A Musical style that arose in the U.S. in the mid-1950s and became the dominant form of popular music in the world. The roots of which lay principally in Rhythm and Blues (R&B) and Country Music. An Australian Radio Interview in which disc jockey Alan Freed Alan Freed Father of Rock And Rolldescribed Diddley as "the man with the original sound that's going to rock and roll you out of your seat." Was rightfully responsible in this genre being termed as "ROCK and Roll" which later came to be called as rock.

What is Rock And Roll?

It is a form of Popular Music from the late 20th century which typically features a vocal melody (often with vocal harmony) that is supported by accompaniment of Electric Guitars, a Bass Guitar, and Drums, often with a strong back beat. Keyboard instruments such as organ, piano, or Synthesizers are often used in many types of rock music.Different guitars
The change in terminology from rock and roll to simply rock indicates both continuity with and a break from the earlier period; rock music was no longer just for dancing. After 1964 the music was influenced by British groups such as the Beatles. With the "British Invasion" this reinvigorated musical style spread back to the United States, and became an international cultural phenomenon with considerable social impact. Rock has evolved into a multitude of highly-varying styles with widespread popularity .
